Paperplain was set up in 1999 as a mail order company, not believing for one moment that this "new-fangled inter-web" would ever change people's shopping habits. Besides, people who wrote letters wouldn't go on-line for their stationery needs - would they? How wrong we were... Today Paperplain is one of the UK's biggest on-line social stationery company. 80% of our designs are exclusive to us and we pride ourselves on the personal service and value we offer. We also have a sister company -Weddingwrites which caters for the more formal wedding stationery. In spring 2009 we moved into a design studio in Marylebone, central London, where we are delighted to meet many of our customers to discuss their requirements and to design exclusively for them. |
